General Hospital Spoilers: Phoebe’s Real Father Revealed, Fake Daddy Ethan Protecting Baby from Danger – usnews
Ethan couldn’t save Delilah Wilson (Lily Cardone) in the end, but he’s determined to do right by her daughter and make sure Phoebe stays safe.
GH fans may recall that Ethan previously went as far as burning Delilah’s photo to make sure their connection stayed buried.
That says a lot about the danger level that Ethan was trying to avoid and suggests they were both tangled up in something terrible.
However, Ethan’s plan ultimately had to change after Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) connected him to Delilah anyway.
Once Alexis uncovered that pic of Ethan and Delilah together, he pivoted and claimed he was Phoebe’s father.
Of course, the story shifted once again after Ethan showed up at GH for his DNA swab to prove paternity.
When Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) wasn’t looking, Ethan swapped out his DNA sample for one that he stole from the PCPD cold case storage room.
Now when the test is run, it’s going to look like that was Ethan’s DNA and will “confirm” he’s a match for Phoebe.
In reality, the bio dad was apparently a criminal tied to a case that the PCPD previously investigated.
Ethan is going to great lengths to “prove” he’s the father so he can put all this to rest.
Once Ethan takes care of this and seals the deal on the closed adoption, he’ll hope that he can bury the truth and keep Phoebe safe forever.
Naturally, things won’t get wrapped up that neat and tidy since that’s just not how soaps work!
Despite Ethan’s best efforts to hide Phoebe’s real father, the truth is sure to explode sooner or later.
Summer preview spoilers point to a face from Ethan’s history resurfacing, so this could be Phoebe’s bio dad or someone connected to him.
Ethan will be forced to flee when danger erupts, but Ava Jerome (Maura West) will come through for him in a big way.
As for the identity of Phoebe’s father, it may be someone fans recognize.
Since Ethan stole DNA tied to a PCPD cold case, that suggests a blast-from-the-past villain might be involved.
Regardless, General Hospital spoilers say Ethan’s mess is only going to get worse, so stay tuned for all the wild news and scary moments.
